Are you looking to prevent overspray out of your livestock tank? The deflector cap installs on the poppet above the washer and directs water downward. If your livestock water trough is especially shallow or if the valve sits up higher than normal, this is a good investment. We recommend this with our 90° lever every time. You may also consider getting one if you are running more than 40 psi.
The deflector cap fits all standard-flow valves, but not the High-Volume valves.
