Freeze Prevention Valves
All of our freeze-prevention valves will help keep your livestock water troughs open longer when the temperatures drop. We have multiple options to choose from, and none of our products require electricity. Our frost-protection valves can help you freezeproof your stock tank!
These will attach to any of our ported valves under the water and use circulating water to keep the tanks open longer.
- Bleeder valve: manually adjustable for constant flow and ice prevention
- Micro Sweeper: mechanical thermocouple opens based on water temperature for ice prevention.
- Walters Ice Preventer: mechanical thermocouple opens based on air temperature for ice prevention.
For those who have a water system coming from the top or side, the Freeze Miser can be attached with a Y hose adapter to help keep your tank open longer as well! This will pull water from the source and pour it into the tank.
